In conjunction with the revisions to the Operational
Procedures, this spring the Board of Directors reviewed,
modified, and approved changes to the Articles of
Incorporation and Bylaws. These core documents,
and soon to be developed Policy Document, provide
the basis for the governance of NEBB. The generation
and modification of NEBB documents going forward
will continue to emphasize single source references.
NEBB will also strive to develop secondary or collateral
materials to appropriately publicize its policies and
procedures. Later this year a new volunteer orientation
guide will be made available, replacing the formerly
named NEBB 101. Stay up to date on new publications
by periodically visiting the web site. These key
documents can be downloaded using the “Resources”
link on the main and from there, visiting the page titled
NEBB Governing Documents.”

NEBB Participated in High Performance Week
NEBB participated in High-Performance Building Week in Washington DC and co-sponsored a reception on May 14,
featuring Rep. Peter Welch (D-VT) and Rep. David McKinley (R-WV), co-chairs, High Performance Building Caucus. As
part of the High-Performance week activities, NEBB representatives also attended a briefing at the Rayburn House Office
Building, titled “Advancing the Building Industry: Findings and Recommendations from the Consultative Council.”
